Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information ThryveSol Academy collects from applicants and students, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Academy website, the online application, our classes, and every official communication channel we use.

1. Who we are

ThryveSol Academy is the training division of ThryveSol, a digital studio delivering live, mentor-led programmes in web development, UI/UX design, graphic design, and digital marketing.

For any question about this policy, or to request access to or deletion of your data, write to academy@thryvesol.com. We aim to respond to every request within seven working days.

2. Information we collect

Application details you give us: full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, city or location, education level, chosen programme, and the social profile you use to verify your application.

Payment records: the transaction reference or payment screenshot you upload so we can confirm your fee, plus the date and amount. We never see or store your full card details, bank credentials, or one-time passwords.

Learning records: attendance, assignment submissions, project links, assessment results, and certificate issuance data created while you study with us.

Technical data: basic, non-identifying information such as browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the site fast, secure, and working correctly.

3. Why we use your information

To assess your application, confirm your seat, and manage your enrolment.

To deliver classes, share learning material, track your progress, and issue your verified certificate.

To contact you about schedules, class links, deadlines, results, and support requests.

To keep accurate financial records of fees received and refunds issued, as required for accounting.

To improve our curriculum and services using aggregated, de-identified feedback.

4. Communication consent

By submitting an application you agree to receive course-related messages by email, WhatsApp, phone call, or our official learning community. These messages are operational, not marketing.

You may opt out of optional announcements at any time by replying to any message or emailing academy@thryvesol.com. Essential messages about your enrolment, fees, or certificate will continue while you remain a student.

5. Class recordings and learning content

Live classes may be recorded so enrolled students can revisit sessions. Your name, voice, or camera feed may appear in a recording if you participate on screen.

Recordings, slides, templates, and source files are licensed to enrolled students for personal learning only. Copying, reselling, uploading, or publicly sharing them is prohibited and may lead to removal without refund.

If you prefer not to appear in a recording, keep your camera off and use chat; tell your mentor and we will accommodate you.

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

We share data only with the service providers that operate the Academy — for example our hosting, database, email, and payment-verification providers — and only to the extent needed to run the programme.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of students, mentors, or ThryveSol.

7. Data security

Application data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security, and administrative access is limited to authorised ThryveSol staff.

Connections to our website and application are encrypted in transit. Payment proofs are stored privately and are never published.

No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you never to send passwords, full card numbers, or banking PINs to us through any channel.

8. How long we keep data

Applications that are not completed are kept for up to twelve months so you can resume where you left off, then deleted.

Enrolled student records, certificate details, and fee records are retained for as long as needed to verify certificates and satisfy accounting obligations.

You may ask us to delete data that we are not legally or operationally required to keep.

9. Certificate verification

Your name, programme, completion date, and certificate ID may be stored so that employers can verify a ThryveSol Academy certificate is genuine. Verification confirms authenticity only; it does not reveal your contact details, grades, or payment information.

10. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate details, ask us to delete non-essential records, or withdraw optional communication consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email academy@thryvesol.com from the address on your application so we can confirm your identity.

11. Children and eligibility

Our programmes are intended for learners aged sixteen and above. Applicants under eighteen must have a parent or guardian aware of the enrolment and the fee, and we may request confirmation before confirming a seat.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our programmes evolve. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and significant changes are announced on our official channels.

By submitting an application you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your information as described above.
